Muralists Strike Again – This Time Petaluma’s Vintage Bank Antiques

Written By: Frances Rivetti - Mar• 11•12

Just around the corner from a  fun vintage car mural on the side of Rex Hardware,  talented painting strikes again – this time with a fab faux-dealer’s-doorway on the Western Avenue side of Vintage Bank Antiques, in downtown Petaluma. Muralist John Ton was behind the Vintage Bank Mural. According to the folks at Rex, Muralist Ed Healy painted the colorful scene at the side of their store.

We hope to see more of these cheerful depictions of local life popping up around town in the coming months!

Great art,but it’s not mine! Ed Healy.

  2. John Ton says:

Hi there, I AM the muralist responsible for the Vintage Bank Antiques mural/sign, and I am definitely NOT the muralist responsible for the Rex Hardware mural depicting a vintage truck. I would greatly appreciate it if you could please credit the Vintage Bank mural to John Ton, and if possible, clarify who the artist was on the “other” (Rex Hardware) mural. Thanks so much! -John Ton, Petaluma (707) 322-0009 PS watch for some new murals in the next year or so; I have a fantastic idea for a community-sponsored mural and a couple of walls in mind!
