CLOO’ from Hillary Young on Vimeo.
Ever consider renting out your loo to passersby? No, neither have we. And the mind boggles at what time of day or night a roving, new “Cloo” app iphone user might appear on the doorstep looking to take advantage of your downstairs loo.
Yet this is just one rather more loopy example of how the latest tech craze has taken on the economy and invented ways to rent out your home and its amenities to make money.
Take for instance AirBnB, Istopover . Rent out a room in your house or maybe even the whole house to members as they travel the world.
Then there’s CouchingSurfing, a growing, tight-knit community of like minded people who might not make money from offering a roof for the night, but think of all the money you’d save if you were up for this sort of resourceful adventure whilst traveling.
